Mark Jackson to Speak at SES Travel Edition

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Mark Jackson (President / CEO of Vizion Interactive) will be speaking on two panels at this year’s SES Travel Edition. Search Engine Strategies Conference and Expo is putting on a two day travel conference in Seattle. The dates are July 26 and 27, 2007. The conference will be held at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront, with registration opening at 8am.

Mark’s first session will be from 9am to 10:15am on Thursday, July 26th. The title of the session is “Designing for the Senses & Search.” Topics will include visual site design appeal, engaging copy, usability, accessibility, optimized site architecture, and creating site stickiness. Joining mark in the discussion will be Matt Bailey and Todd Sarouhan.

Mark’s second session will begin after lunch on Friday the 27th at 1:15pm. The session is titled: “Rise to the Top: Organic SEO Tricks of the Trade.” Topics will include beyond basic strategies for SEO in general and the travel industry specifically. Joining Mark are Todd Friesen, Marie Dumesnil, and Elisabeth Osmeloski.

Travel is an especially competitive field for online marketing (and every other type, to be sure). This will be an excellent opportunity for airline, vacation, and various travel companies to learn how to better connect with users online.
